As mentioned before, Cradh wasn't in a position to wait around until sunrise for the wolf-man and Lilith to work things out. He had business to attend to. And because the lycan had mentioned being in debt to Lilith, Cradh thought she'd be relatively safe around him. He turned his attention back to the smell of the humans' blood and started following it into town.

"Lilith, right?" he called over his shoulder as he walked off. "If you can help it- try to stay alive until tomorrow night. I'm probably going to need you..." Then he disappeared into the darkness ahead.

Ike stared up at the sealing, his wound was stinging from the medicine, he sat up, he felt tiered but he didn't want to sleep "....." he looked around the room

She nodded and watched as he left. "I'm going home." Lilith said, "Oh no." She said remembering Ike, she started running.

In town, Cradh put on his thick glasses (to hide his eyes) and quickly sought out the house of the Berkly family. It was fairly late already, so Mr. Berkly was quite surprised when someone knocked on his door. He looked out the window and found a young lad crouched on his doorstep.
Warily, Mr. Berkly opened the door and looked down at the kid. "What's a little feller like you doing here?" he said.

"M-my... my mama...." Cradh pretended to sniffle, not looking up. "I can't find my mama. And, Papa went to find her, but he didn't come back yet... and I'm scared... "

"Well, come on in then. We'll see if we can find 'em in the morning," Mr. Berkly sighed, helped Cradh up, and tugged him into the house like a child by the hand. "Vesta!"

His wife came hurrying around the corner- a dark haired beauty whose hair covered have of her face. "Yes, dear?"
"We've got another one." Mr. Berkly said, and gently handed Cradh off to Vesta.

"I understand," she sighed. Mr. Berkly pat pat Cradh on the head before going out to find his lost parents. The moment the man was out of earshot, Vesta turned to Cradh wickedly. "You're late."

Lilith ran home and found Ike in his room, "Does it hurt?" She said walking in.

"I was hungry," Cradh said, and put his glasses away glaring at Vesta with eyes as red as the blood he drank. She brushed back her hair, revealing relatively normal eyes, only they seemed a bit... hollow.

"Master Ryvius and the others are waiting for you," she said urgently and turned to escort Cradh to a hidden door on the floor that lead to a basement. When they both entered, Ryvius- a silver haired vampire- and about five others were gathered around a table eyeing each other suspiciously.

Ryvius raised an arm in greeting, "Ah, you arrived after all. Good... My pet, you are dismissed." Vesta bowed emotionlesslythen returned to the room above. "So, small one- introduce yourself"

Cradh bit back his pride, and stated, "I am Cradh: eighth spawn of Tlusula- the servant of Dilbrande and Ellesum- the servants of Ungothe, Kreed, and Noir- spawns of Count Alachor Vyl Xan Xas'diem."

Ike looked up to see the girl again, he nodded his head even though he hated to admit that he was in pain.

After introductions, Ryvius explained the situation to Cradh and the other representatives of distant clans. He learned that they were gathering two set of ancient documents. The first was "The Saintless Necrobia"- containing stories of the origins of vampires and werewolves and methods to create in unusual ways. The second was "The Holy Alaiasus"- containing clues to grand spells that could banish vampires and werewolves from this world.

"They're dangerous if they fall into the wrong hands," Ryvius said. "But, if we get them first, we might be able to use them against our arch enemy."

Cradh was told to inspect rumors about the location of a page of the "The Holy Alaiasus." When he was told the location, his eyes shot open wide. "No! I can't got there; that's suicide for our kind!" he shouted.

"Either go there and find out, or I'll kill you now. I don't tolerate disobediance, underling," Ryvius said- calm but coldly. And with that, Cradh reluctantly agreed. His quest would begin the next night; and it looked like he'd need Lilith after all.

[Are ya going to the werewolf home land or something?]

(Nopers... not yet, anyway. )

She walked over and felt his head, "Well, your hot, do you feel cold?" She asked trying to find out if he had a fever.

Ike nodded, he was as a matter of fact really cold..." that isn't..good is it...." he said in a quieter tone.

Lilith shook her head, "It means you could be infected. How long have you had the wound?"

" two, maybe three days...." he said.

Lilith frowned, "I'll get some medicine to help with the pain but, there's nothing I can do if it's infected except bring down the fever."

Ike nodded, " thanks....." he said

She smiled and got him some more medicine. She sat down beside him on the bed, "This should taste a little better than the last batch." She smiled again. "If you don't mind my asking, what happened?" She asked referring to his arm.

Ike took the medicine and drank it, and like she had said, it wasn't as nasty, he sighed and looked down for a moment then he looked at her " i was at the house that i was staying in with an old couple...it was night time, thats when there was a noise outside...i went to check it out...there seemed to be a fight going on, but only after a few steps i was attacked, i struggled and faught for a few moments then blacked out, when i woke up in the morning the house had been destroyed and the old couple were dead....." he said solemnly

After the meeting, every vampire in the house except for Cradh left town. There simply wasn't enough blood to go around here- they said.
The sad thing was that Cradh couldn't use the blood either, or he'd lose any small chance he had of convincing that pesky Lilith creature to help him. Instead, he feasted miserably on rodents and stray animals that came by the Berkly house.

When Mr. Berkly returned, Cradh pretended to be asleep. The last instructions Ryvius gave Vesta were to provide Cradh with a proper resting place come daylight and to throw off anyone's suspicions of vampire activities. Vesta took the bodies of the dead animals and buried them in a dark place behind the house.

Lilith looked at him sad, "I'm sorry."

" nothing to be sorry about..wasn't your fault, agh!" he clutched his arm as a pain ripped though it.

Lilith leaned over him, "Are you alright?" She asked, worried.
